Role Overview
I joined the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group because I feel it’s the best model for a patient-centered medical home with outpatient, radiology, labs, urgent care, and specialty services all offered within the same building. My interest in medicine began when I was teenager and lived near Howard University Hospital, and I used to watch the doctors go in and out of the ER in their scrubs. I enjoy being a pediatrician because I have the opportunity to influence a young child early in his/her life when it comes to diet and nutrition. Hopefully by doing so, I can catch them early and halt a trek towards obesity.
What My Patients Say:
My personal experience is very good. The facility is good and clean, the staff very kind. My doctor Elizabeth Biru and my twin boys’ doctor Nichole R. Glass [are] so very nice …. and show [they] really care about you. I love them. – PL
My appointment for my toddler was one of the best encounters I ever had with a Kaiser Permanente pediatrician because of Dr. Glass’ pleasant demeanor and practical advice that incorporated natural remedies, which really meant a lot. – BW
Dr. Glass was excellent with my kids. The nurses at the pediatrician’s office were great also. – MK
