Your Next Steps: Make Your Auto Career Plan

Auto Career Plan Weekly Message Image

Cars are changing—and so are the careers. You don’t have to wait to get started. Here’s your quick guide:

Education First – Keep building your math, reading, study, and computer skills. Electronics are especially important for today’s cars.

Get Hands-On  – Identify and apply to internships. Join an apprenticeship, co-op, or on-the-job training program. The more real-world experience, the better.

Keep Up with Tech  – Cars are changing fast. Make a commitment to lifelong learning and jump into new training whenever you can.

Think in Systems  – Modern vehicles combine electrical + mechanical parts. Learn how the whole system works, not just one piece.

Build Communication Skills  – Success isn’t just technical. Strong communication and people skills will boost your credibility and confidence.
